The land
Five acres of banksia and heath, 200 metres from the sand of Seven Mile Beach and 600 metres from the tea-tree waters of Lake Ainsworth. The bush does half the teaching here — tides, tannin-stained freshwater, and sky that goes on forever.

Camp Drewe is a charity-run coastal camp on five acres of heathland between Seven Mile Beach and Lake Ainsworth — a place where schools, churches, families and community groups come to learn, rest and belong.
Camp Drewe exists to give children, young people, families and community groups an affordable place to camp, learn and belong — so that cost is never the reason a child misses camp.
We are the Northern Rivers Conference Centre, a registered Australian charity. Every dollar that comes through our gate goes back into keeping camp accessible for the schools, churches and community groups who have called this coastline their own for over fifty years.

School classes on their first night away from home. Church youth finding their voice. Families, craft groups, sporting clubs and charities who need room to breathe. Children, teenagers, parents and grandparents — camp is for everyone.
We are a registered charity, not a business. Since 1971 this place has been run so that cost is never the reason a child misses camp. That is still the measure of every decision our board makes.
One coastline, four communities. Every program runs at charity rates, with catering, a campfire circle and the beach a short walk away.
Canoeing, surf awareness, coastal ecology and team challenges — a curriculum-friendly week students never forget.
